We will be at Made in Hawai'i this weekend August 20–23 at Kilo Summit, 3rd Floor, where we’ll be debuting an exclusive collaboration with HIE Jewelry.
This special collection brings together the artistry and craftsmanship of two local brands. Tidal Theory’s signature leather leis are handcrafted in our studio in Historic Chinatown, thoughtfully designed to celebrate the beauty and spirit of Hawaiʻi. HIE Jewelry’s signature 14K Gold Pikake pieces add an elegant, timeless touch inspired by one of Hawaiʻi’s most beloved flowers.
Together, we’ve created a collection that blends Tidal Theory’s distinctive leatherwork with HIE’s fine jewelry craftsmanship.

The leather lei exudes a sense of timelessness and strength, making it a striking accessory for special occasions or ceremonial events.
Each lei is thoughtfully handcrafted with full grain vegetable tanned leather, molded and strung on beautiful natural dyed silk by Okbet Supply and spaced with solid wood beads.
